Project Overview
The client reached out to us through our website after searching for a reliable stair carpet company in Dubai. They had recently completed the flooring in their villa in Arabian Ranches and wanted a soft, durable carpet runner for the staircase that would match the light oak herringbone flooring already installed on the lower level.
During the initial site visit, we discussed their requirements in detail. The client wanted a neutral-toned carpet with a crisp, tailored edge to give the staircase a finished look, without the maintenance hassle of a plush carpet in a high-traffic area.

What the Client Wanted
The homeowner’s main concern was durability. With kids and regular foot traffic, they needed a stair carpet that could handle daily wear without flattening or fraying at the edges. They also wanted a design that would tie the staircase visually into the rest of the villa, rather than looking like a separate, mismatched element. After reviewing a few samples, they chose a beige flatweave runner with a crisp black border, a combination that reads as clean and contemporary while still being practical for a family home.
Our Process & The Final Result
Our team began by taking exact measurements of each step, the landing, and the stair nosing, since staircases rarely have identical dimensions from top to bottom. The carpet was cut and bound in-house to match these measurements precisely, with the black binding stitched to run continuously along every edge, including the tricky corner turns on the landing.
Installation was completed in a single day with minimal disruption to the household. Every step was fitted tight against the riser to prevent slipping, and the finished runner sat flush against the white staircase railing and skirting. The client was particularly happy with how the contrast trim tied the staircase together with the rest of the interior. On handover, they mentioned the staircase now felt like “the most finished part of the house,” and they’ve since asked us to quote for a matching runner in their study.
