Project Overview
The owner of a private villa in Emirates Hills reached out to us after months of struggling with a patchy natural lawn burning out under the Dubai sun. Despite daily watering, the front garden looked tired, and he wanted a green, low-maintenance solution before the cooler season.
After a WhatsApp enquiry and a site visit, our team measured the entire garden, checked the soil levels and drainage, and discussed pile heights and shades with the client. We then shared a clear quotation for a full artificial grass installation covering the front and side lawns.
The Client’s Brief and Site Challenges
The garden was large and wrapped around the villa’s entrance, with several mature trees that the owner wanted to keep untouched. The ground was uneven, old roots had raised some sections, and water from tree irrigation tended to pool near the paving. The client also wanted the lawn to follow the angled interlock borders precisely, with no visible seams, and asked for a turf that stayed soft underfoot and didn’t look plastic or shiny. Our job was to deliver a natural-looking synthetic lawn that could handle Dubai’s heat and everyday family use.
Our Installation Process and Final Results
Our crew started by clearing the old grass, weeds and debris, working carefully around the tree roots and leaving neat sand beds around each trunk. We levelled the ground, laid and compacted a road-base sub-layer, and added a gentle slope so water drains away easily. A weed membrane went down next, followed by premium 35mm UV-resistant artificial grass, rolled out in one direction for a consistent colour. Every joint was glued on seaming tape, edges were cut cleanly against the interlock kerbs, and the lawn was finished with silica sand infill and a power brush.
Within four days, the tired garden became a lush, evenly green lawn that beautifully frames the villa’s entrance. There’s no more mowing, re-seeding or heavy watering, and the family can use the garden year-round without mud or dry patches. During the final walkthrough, the owner said the lawn looked so natural that visitors would never guess it was artificial, and he was especially pleased with how neatly the edges met the paving. He has since contacted us again about synthetic turf for the rear garden and pool area.
